It's only just begun.....

This is too funny not to share....I went to pick up Aiden at daycare today. I was getting his stuff gathered up to head out the door when a little girl sitting there called my name...here is the conversation:

Girl: "Hey! Aiden's Mommy"
Me: "Yes"
Girl: "Me and Aiden falled in love"
Me: I laughed and said "You did?"
Girl: She said "Yes, we did" and proceeds to get up from her chair to hug him good-bye.

The teacher looks at her and says "No, you didn't you were just dreaming" and asks her to sit back down in her little chair.

The teacher and I both laughed and I told her I wasn't quite ready for these days just yet.

So, we get into my car and I asked Aiden, "Who was that little girl who said she was in love with you" and he said "her name is Julia". I said it back to him and he corrected me and said " NO Mom, Julia (apparently I was mispronouncing it!) She wasn't a "regular" from his class so I wasn't sure of her name.

So, then he says to me and I quote:

"Mom, I know how to make girls love me!" Then he repeats it again and said he was going to kiss her on the lips to which my response was, "No, the only girl you are kissing on the lips is your Mommy!"

WHAT?!?!?!? He's only 5!

I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants right then and there!
