Today I am going to have my glucose test done. Hopefully I pass with flying colors because I don't think I could be on a restricted, especially during pregnancy! Things are moving along so quickly now! Chris and I just keep saying to one another "only three more months!" It's different this time around because we know what to expect with a new baby although, we don't know what to expect having a baby and a 5 year old, I am sure that will be a challenge at times. I have faith that we will handle it wonderfully! We were able to sell our spare bedroom furniture on craigslist so now we can start the nursery. We already moved the furniture out of there and it's funny now every time I pass the room I pause for a second and visualize what it is about to become in the coming weeks. We are more than likely going to purchase our new crib this weekend. I would have used Aiden's but it was damaged by water while sitting in the basement last year. I was upset but at the same time not devastated, luckily we didn't go out and spend a lot of money on a crib so, we will just have to get another. We have so many things we are going to re-use so that helps out financially. I started getting all my ducks in a row with STD through work. I plan on taking off 12 weeks, six of which are paid at 70% so not to bad. I look forward to being off during the spring and taking lots of walks! We also have a contact in our neighborhood who watches my neighbor's children so I am going to be calling to talk to her about the possibility of watching Ava once I return to work. I am almost certain that is my plan as of now, I have been at my current job for (going on) 4 years and really don't want to give up a good thing. I guess if I change my mind later I can always stay home. We will just see what happens in the coming months.
We have our first kindergarten meeting next week for Aiden. So hard to believe he will start school this year. We are going to attempt at getting him into an all day school in our district. That might be a bit of a challenge from what I hear but, it would work out so much better for us and I think he is ready for all day being he has been in an all day childcare environment for a few years. This weekend is his birthday party and I will be sure to take lots of pictures to post next week!
