What a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!
Friday evening I got to meet some of my girlfriends for a few drinks. Saturday I slept in until 9 AM!! Chris's Cousin and his family arrived on Saturday. They have two boys age 4 and 10 months, the kids all played together during the day and we got a sitter and went to dinner that evening. It was a wonderful dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, J Alexanders. Then we had a few more drinks at a bar a little closer to home. Today was Mother's Day! Chris went to get everyone coffee and donuts this morning. After our company left, I opened my beautiful cards. Chris also got me a gift card to have a mani/pedi and my eye brows done :-) Aiden made me a beautiful picture at school! I wish it wasn't so big so I can scan it, maybe I will take a picture of it so I can share! The sun was shining so I wanted to spend a little time outside. We headed to the zoo to see the new polar bears. We had a great time other than the fat lip Ava got from falling on her face...poor little thing! She was walking and looked so cute so I went to grab my camera to take a picture and she fell right on her face! I felt horrible!!! She is fine now, thank goodness. On the way home we picked up another one of my favorites Pei Wei for dinner! It was a fantastic Mother's Day!!! I am so thankful for a wonderful husband and two of the most precious children in the world!! They are such a gift!
