We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. I cooked in the morning so that all the food for Christmas Day would be prepared and all I had to do was heat it all up. Then, Aiden and I iced the cookies for Santa and we went to eat dinner at an Italian place called LaScala. It was very nice and festive. We ate in the early side and attended a Family Christmas Service at the Lutheran Church where Aiden plays basketball. We then headed home got in our comfy clothes turned on a Christmas Story and allowed the kids to open their gifts from each other and one gift from Mommy and Daddy. Aiden got Ava the first Fancy Nancy Book and Ava got Aiden the Guess Who game. Aiden then picked out the cookies he wanted to leave for Santa and set them out with a glass of milk. Both kids went down pretty easily that evening which made it nice! Santa didn't have a lot to assemble this year either! Here is a link to our Christmas Eve pictures:
