Seems like things are still going non-stop for us at our house! We just got a new laptop computer but due to the old computer crashing (literally the same day the new one arrived) I have been behind at downloading pictures! Hopefully we will be back in business soon because I have some great pictures to update! We have had flag football practice twice this week, a meeting with the teacher last night and another PTO I attended this morning as well as a pampered chef party another evening this past week. I seriously need a cleaning lady, my poor house is a disaster since I have ZERO time to clean. I think feeding the family is more a a priority so I leave cleaning as one of those tasks to do whenever I get the time...which drives me crazy!
Most importantly, the kids (still feels strange saying that) are both still doing wonderfully!
Aiden LOVES school! I couldn't be more pleased! We had a meeting with his teacher last night to go over what all they will learn this year and I am so excited for him! He is going to just love learning and it's going to be amazing to see the difference this year makes for him. I can't wait until he comes home with homework so I can help him with it at night! I had a PTO meeting this morning at his school and peeked into his classroom and it was story time and he had his hand up to ask a ?- so cute! I was so excited to see him getting involved and participating. I just want to see him do well in school.
Ava is also doing great! She is finally getting a handle on eating her cereal. She ate cereal and pears the past few evenings and did great! Next we might try some peaches or sweet potatoes. She is so happy and just a fun baby! She had a few early morning wake ups this past week but the past two nights has slept all night so hopefully she stays on that schedule! I love her fat thieghs so much I can't stand it!!!! I just had her laying naked one day just to look at them and I told her I didn't care if she peed all over the place- well shortly after...there she went on the blanket... I could have cared less...it's worth a load of laudry to see those thunder thieghs of hers! Especially whens she kicks her legs super hard like she is going to try to fly away or something! She is just as precious as they come!
Chris has been busy working as usual and is taking the week off next week to finish several misc. projects that he just doesn't seem to have the time to finish. This includes taking my car back once again to have them figure out why there is black smoke coming out from the exhaust every morning!!!!! I am so over the entire accident drama....I so wish they would have just totaled the darn thing out.
I plan on working next week but might take a day off as well. I have a day at the spa that I still haven't used so that might be something I schedule for myself some day soon. That is if I have any hair left over once it stops falling out! I remember having hair fall out after delivering Aiden but never to the extent it seems to be right now. It's insane!!!!! I almost took a picture of all the hair I pulled from the vaccuum cleaner but it was too gross!
I am really looking forward to spending the holiday weekend with the family. One extra day makes a world of difference, seems like the weekends just fly by so fast anymore. We have a busy weekend scheduled. Aiden's flag football team is walking the track before the high school game this evening. He will think that is the greatest thing ever! Then, his first game is tomorrow at 9 AM! My Mom and Dad are coming tonight so they will be able to attend his first game as well! I plan on doing a little shopping with my Mom as well and other than that I hope to get in a little relaxation and enjoy this last weekend of official "summer."
Hopefully next week I can get my pictures downloaded! I am sure I will have more from this coming weekend to post!
Hope everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day weekend!!! All this talk about my kids makes me want to go get them right now!
