Tomorrow is officially my start of week 32! I am anxious and excited that we will soon welcome our new baby into the world. Part of me is a little sad because I am pretty sure we are done after this baby. I think one of each is a perfect family and I want to be able to take vacations and do things with them growing up that I am afraid we might not be able to do if we have any more. Not to mention, the road getting here was not the smoothest! I love feeling her move inside of me and I will miss that more than anything! I am over a few things like the fatigue and swelling in my legs but overall I cannot complain, this has been a really great pregnancy. I will try to take some belly shots over the weekend and post them next week. My next OB appt is Monday. Then on Tuesday, Chris and I have our scheduled hospital tour at the hospital where I will deliver. As I mentioned previously, my OB is now only delivering at a new hospital that just opened last year so we will be in a new place this time around, but it's really nice so I am looking forward to it!
In other news, the nursery, which is now pink, is coming along beautifully. I don't want to take any pictures until all my finishing touches are done. My BF is re-painting my changing table and my brother in law is coming next week to put the chandelier up, it's going to adorable. Aiden loves going in there and sitting on the glider. He said he is going to come in and check on the baby when she cries, then he asked Chris if we could keep the side of the crib down so he could "pet"the baby! am not sure if he things she is going to be like a puppy or something, but he used the term "pet!" Yet another adorable Aidenism....I just love him!
That is about all that is happening in my world at this time! I am certainly keeping busy, trying to get all the loose ends at home and work tied up in the next few weeks. I know babies have the say in when they arrive so I want to be as prepared as possible incase she decides to arrive early. I will post again next week after our appt and hopefully will have some pictures to share!
I am looking very forward to a date night with Chris tomrrow evening. We have one of Aiden's daycare teachers coming to babysit for us while we go to Hyde Park for dinner and possibly a movie. We normally don't get the opportunity to go out to 'fancy' places but, we wanted to do something special before the baby arrives plus, he promised me a nice night out since he won his fantasy football league this year! (there had to be something in it for me too! ;-))
